Lily's Little Corner
Beauty tips, tricks and reviews

About Me
Hi there! I am Lily! I am 25 years old and have had a bursting passion for everything beauty, makeup and skincare related. I have worked within the makeup industry for over 5 years and have always loved learning about new products! Ever since I was a child I would always watch my mum and my grandmother apply their makeup and do their intricate skincare routines. I was fascinated with the way these products helped boost their confidence and how this made them feel empowered and strong.
I created this website in the hopes of showing others that makeup and skincare is fun and so diverse! Whilst so many people often get overwhelmed with how much choice is out there, I try to keep things simple and straight forward by only showing you my top favourite products. It is also a chance for me to document my journey in the beauty industry and to look back on what I love and adore over time!
I rely on social media heavily, I share, post, pin, retweet so many amazing products or my absolute favourite inspiration looks! I find that inspiration can be found in so many areas, not only in one stream, I find that makeup and skincare is an art form and it is one of my greatest passions to share all of this with you!
Check me out on Instagram, Twitter and Pinterest! Hope you enjoy this journey with me!
Some of my favourite makeup items!
Must haves for every season!
Get that healthy glow
These two products are a must if you want to look glowy and glossy.MCo Beauty lip oil and cheek and lip stain are beautifully formulated to enhance natural beauty whilst giving your skin and lips some colour and shine. These products look beautiful on most skin tones and feel so luxurious.

Ready and Set
The Becca Cosmetics loose setting powder is my favourite powder ever! It sets my foundation and concealer without looking cakey and dry. This powder is on the more pricey side, but I retweeted some great alternatives on my twitter!

Blushing
These blush duos by Jouer Cosmetics are so beautiful. So affordable for how much you get and how long they will last you! These can be used as blush or as highlighter for darker skin tones. They look beautiful in the light and are really buildable. S if you like more of a natural glow or blushy cheeks, this is a must!

Skincare on a budget that works!
These are my current top 3 skincare products on a budget that I think are perfect for the colder weather! I think it is so important to try to promote affordable products that help your skin and work, without breaking the bank!

Face mist and toner
A simple and gentle toner for all skin types
This beautifully delicate mist toner by Sukin is exactly what you need to prep your skin for the next steps in your routine. It is lightly fragranced and is effective in hydrating and creating a lovely glow on the skin. Highly recommend!

Hydrate
Moisture and hydration
As a person with very sensitive skin, QV face products have been a lifesaver. They are unscented and will give you rich moisture whilst being really gentle and non-irritating. When I have bad eczema, these products are my go-to. They are also affordable and a little bit goes a long way!

Lock in that moisture
Facial oil for a gorgeous glow
This is my favourite facial oil by Palmers. It contains rosehip oil which helps with dark spots and has been amazing at locking in the moisture in my skin after applying my moisturizer! Only a few drops needed, and gently patted into the skin. You will wake up with your skin feeling brand new!
